Having been founded as the first Medical Engineering Department in Turkey, we aim to educate Medical Engineers who have fundamental knowledge in the fields of Medicine, Engineering and Technology, can follow the developments in these areas, are inquisitive, productive and enterprising, hold strong interdisciplinary knowledge and communication skills, and ethical values, are equipped with problem-oriented thinking ability and prone to teamwork;
to gain academicians who can be active at international level;
to give priority to national requirements in related sector;
to follow related national and international issues and developments;
to pursue national and international R&D activities;
to put the results of scientific studies into the service for our country by introducing them into the fields of application, and to contribute to their academic and technological background.
