About Internship (Updated)

Internship Notebook Submission:

The validity of the internship is 1 year. The summer internship course can be taken in the following fall semester or in the summer school the following year. The internship book will be handed over to the department secretariat with a wet signature and only in hard copy. The results will be published as an announcement on the department web page.

Students who will do internship in the summer term of 2022-2023 are required to upload the WORKPLACE ACCEPTANCE DOCUMENT (APPENDIX-2) on the form below, at the latest 15 days before the start of the internship.

INTERNSHIP APPLICATION RULES
In the 2022-2023 Education Summer Term, the students who study in our department must be accepted for the 20 working days summer internship, which will be compulsory, in accordance with the principles stated below.
1- Students are required to do their Internships in accordance with the Internship Application Directive of Karabuk University Faculties and Schools and the Internship Application Principles of our Department.
2- Students whose insurance entry transactions are made; In case of a change in the internship dates or cancellation of the internship, the documents showing the reason for the cancellation, date change should be submitted to the secretariat of our department together with the petition.
3- Students should check the declared dates in advance as internships cannot be done on public holidays and on Sundays.
4- Students who do two internships in the same company can do it for 40 days without leaving a gap between the dates. It will be sufficient to submit a single appendix-2 document. The relevant parts should also be specified in the form. Those who are in this situation will fill in two internship books.
5- Apart from the Compulsory Internship Application and the Presidency Internship Mobilization, there is a voluntary internship application.
6- Internship Contract will be filled by those who will be paid from the place where they will do the internship. The Internship Agreement must be signed by the student, the company and the head of the department. If the company requests it, it must be signed and delivered before the internship. If the company does not request it, they can deliver it together with the internship book.

The Insurance Certificate is entered into the e-government system 2-3 days before the start of the internship. Insurance start documents for internship can be obtained via e-government. After typing "4A İşe Giriş Çıkış Bildirgesi" in the search section of the e-government system, you can obtain the relevant document by clicking the create document button on the right side of the place where Karabük University is written at the top of the results.
