Applications for Single Course Exams for the 2025-2026 Fall Term

The 2025-2026 Fall Term Single Course Exam will be held in person on Monday, February 2, 2026. Announcements regarding the exam time and location for accepted students will be published on the respective departments' websites.

Application Process

Students wishing to take the exam must fill out and sign the KBÜ-FRM-0050 Single Course Exam Application Form, available on the Quality Coordination Office website, and submit it no later than Friday, January 30, 2026 .

Submitting Forms: Completed and signed forms should be delivered in person to the relevant department's secretariat or, if available, sent via the online upload address specified on the relevant department's website.

Important Note

To avoid any inconvenience, it is extremely important that you carefully read the instructions on the application form and fill in all fields accurately and completely .


Karabük University Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree Education, Teaching and Examination Regulations:

  • Students who have completed all courses in the curriculum and met the attendance requirements, but have only one course remaining (excluding the internship course) for graduation , may apply to the relevant department head within the periods specified in the academic calendar, regardless of whether the course is offered in the relevant semester, and take the single-course exam on the date specified in the academic calendar. If they fail the single-course exam, they may retake it provided they pay the student contribution fee/tuition fee. Students who have paid the student contribution fee/tuition fee but have not applied cannot retake the single-course exam. To pass the single-course exam, a minimum score of 50 out of 100 is required. However, students who do not achieve a GPA of 2.00 or higher will not be eligible for graduation. For students who have passed the single-course exam but still have an internship course to complete, graduation procedures will begin upon successful completion of the internship course.
  • Students who have passed all courses by fulfilling the attendance requirement but have not achieved the required 2.00 GPA for graduation are given the opportunity to take a single-course exam in a conditionally passed course on the dates specified in the academic calendar. The last grade received in this single-course exam, taken to improve the GPA, will be considered valid.
  • Students who cannot raise their overall grade point average to 2.00 even if they receive the highest possible grade (AA) on a single-course exam will not be granted the right to retake that single-course exam.
