Technological developments and innovative approaches, the number and quality of which are constantly increasing, have a powerful transformative effect on city life in cities that consume natural resources less and try to make them renewable while realizing social and economic development. Cities that are not exposed to any crisis or risk during the formation of settlements, but that are prepared for unexpected situations for whatever reason and that can produce rational solutions are targeted. technologies are needed.
In this direction, it is aimed to contribute to education with the Graduate Thesis Support Program, which is organized for the first time by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, and to put forward new ideas supported by scientific studies in order to make Bursa a smart, resilient and sustainable city. Our administration is planning to provide financial support in the determined amounts to the researchers who will carry out their thesis studies on the scale of Bursa and who will produce solutions to the difficulties encountered in the city management in the themes determined within the scope of the program and who will develop new proposals for the needs of the city.
The "Graduate Thesis Support Program" organized by our Administration is organized for researchers who will carry out their graduate thesis studies at the universities affiliated to the Higher Education Institution (YÖK) on the scale of Bursa, within the framework of three themes: "Smart Cities, Resilient Cities and Sustainable Cities".
