TUBITAK STAR Program Call for 2023
With the 2247-C Trainee Researcher Scholarship Program (STAR) carried out within TÜBİTAK, it is aimed that our undergraduate students gain R&D culture, take the first step into the research ecosystem and be encouraged to conduct research by participating in projects carried out in TÜBİTAK Centers and Institutes, research projects supported by TÜBİTAK, or research projects supported by the Research Universities Support Program (ADEP) initiated by the Council of Higher Education for research universities.
For this purpose, applications to the STAR program are completed in three stages. In the first stage, the project coordinators receive applications from the project owners for the scholars who can work in their projects, and in the second stage, the applications of undergraduate students with the qualifications requested for the projects received in the first stage are collected. The last stage is the evaluation stage, where the project coordinators evaluate the applications received for their projects and determine the scholarship candidate who will work in their project.
In the STAR program, the first phase of the 2023 call was completed as of October 27, 2023 and requests for fellows for a total of 1410 projects were received from the project owners. Of the 1410 projects, 1161 are projects supported by TÜBİTAK, 143 are YÖK ADEP projects and 106 are projects carried out in TÜBİTAK Institutes.
In the second phase of the program, undergraduate students will be able to apply via BİDEB Application Tracking System (https://ebideb.tubitak.gov.tr/giris.htm) to take part in these research projects between 13 November 2023 (20.00) - 11 December 2023 (17.30).
