Our faculty, which is aware of the fact that youth, especially well-trained university youth, has an important place and share in the economic, social and cultural development and progress of our country, and has a faculty member aware of this awareness, aims to train engineers who will shape the future.

Karabük Engineering Faculty, which was established on 18.12.2005 with the decision of the Council of Ministers with the decision numbered 2005/9744 under Zonguldak Karaelmas University, was affiliated to Karabük University, which was established with the law no. 5662 of 29 May 2007, and was named Karabük University Engineering Faculty. Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering departments were opened within the Faculty on 19.07.2007. Since the 2008-09 academic year, education has started with the admission of 40 students to the Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering departments. Since the 2009-2010 academic year, it continues to accept students to formal education and secondary education programs of Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering departments. Currently, in our faculty, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Automotive Engineering and Rail Systems Engineering Programs), Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering (Transportation Engineering Program), Medical Engineering, Software Engineering departments continue to accept students.

Foreign language preparatory class is compulsory in the undergraduate program, and students start their undergraduate program education after participating in the English preparatory program for one year. Students whose knowledge of English is sufficient, if they are successful in the exemption exam, skip the compulsory preparatory program and continue to the undergraduate program. In the light of universal values, our faculty is committed to raising high-qualified individuals for the future of the country, and to presenting its production in the fields of research, education and service for the benefit of the society by making use of its science, technology and art accumulation. Our faculty consists of faculty members who are aware and aware that youth, especially well-trained university youth, have an important place and share in the economic, social and cultural development and progress of a country.
