About Department
Mechatronics Engineering is an interdisciplinary field that combines the disciplines of mechanical, computer, electronic, and control engineering.

                               

It started its education activities in the fall semester of 2012-2013 with 164 students who were placed in our department. Mechatronics Engineering continues its education with both day and evening programs.
 
The Mechatronics Engineering department has a competent academic staff consisting of 3 professors, 2 associate professors, 7 doctorate instructors, and 3 research assistants. Among the 60 Mechatronics Engineering programs that continue their education activities in Turkey, Karabuk University Engineering Faculty Mechatronics Engineering Department ranks fourth in terms of the number of academic staff.
 
In the Mechatronics Engineering Department, our students' versatile development is supported by double major, minor, Erasmus, and Mevlana programs. You can access the Projects, Publications, and Undergraduate Theses carried out by our department students from the Research menu.

Our Mechatronics Engineering Department students achieve outstanding success in competitions such as the 2242 University Student Research Project Competition First Prize - 2019, 2242 University Student Research Project Competition Second Prize - 2020, 5th International Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Competition, and TEKNOFEST Competition.



The Mechatronics Engineering Department has been graduating students since 2016. Our graduates continue to work in Turkey's best defense industry firms and the best private sector and public institutions in their fields.
