PhD
For the doctoral qualifying exam, students will be responsible for 4 main textbooks. At least 80% of the written exam and at least 50% of the oral exam will be based on the contents of these books.

  • Intoduction to Theory of Computation (Michael Sipser)
  • Computer Organization and Architecture (William Stallings)
  • A Modern Intoduction Probability and Statistics (F. M. Dekking et al.)
In addition to the topics given above, questions will also come from the topics in the Computer Engineering curriculum.

As of 01.11.2019, in order to graduate from the PhD program, it is required to have published at least one article with SCI, SCI-Expanded or SSCI index (DOI number is sufficient).
