Brief Description of the Duty
To establish the internal and external quality assurance system in our faculty, to determine the quality indicators and to carry out the work to be carried out within this scope in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by the quality commission. To make the necessary preparations regarding the units during the external evaluation process, to provide all kinds of support regarding the units to the Higher Education Quality Board and external evaluator institutions during the audit process and to carry out the work in cooperation with the department quality commissions.
Duties, Powers and Responsibilities

To ensure that the activities to be carried out in the process of evaluating and improving the quality of education, training and research activities and administrative services are carried out in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by the University Quality Commission and in accordance with the strategic plan and goals of the University and the Faculty,

Every year, periodically, in January of the following year, the University prepares the Final Performance Program of that year, taking into account the annual internal or external evaluation report, the results of the internal periodic reviews, the annual report of the University Quality Commission and the relevant decisions of its higher boards, adhering to the strategic plan for the next calendar year, and creates and executes the appropriate improvement action plans.

To determine the success indicators of the Faculty activities and to carry out the work to be done within this scope in line with the procedures and principles determined by the Higher Education Quality Board and to report these works to the Dean's Office for the approval of the Faculty Board,

To determine the quality targets of the faculty,

To ensure that the concept of quality is adopted by all employees,

To prepare the Faculty Internal Evaluation and Report,

To make the necessary preparations for the certification studies to be carried out by independent organizations regarding the Quality Management System in the Faculty,

To announce the decisions of the Faculty Quality Commission to the relevant sub-units of the Faculty, to contribute to the implementation of the sub-units and to monitor their results,

To contribute to the creation of an institutional culture based on participation, more effective and efficient use of Faculty resources, improvement of processes and provision of quality service in the implementation of quality management processes,

To submit the annual report regarding the Faculty activities to the Dean's Office to be submitted to the University Quality Commission by the end of December,

To organize and carry out quality assessment and assurance studies and accreditation studies within the faculty,

To prepare improvement action plans to improve areas that are open to improvement as a result of internal or external evaluations, to determine which improvements should be completed, under whose responsibility, when and in what time period, and to execute the improvement action plan in cooperation with the relevant units, after receiving approval from the Dean's Office,

Organizes periodic review meetings and reports the evaluation results to the Dean's Office to be submitted to the Faculty Board,

To report the results of internal and external evaluations made in the faculty to the Dean's Office for public announcement,
He/she is responsible to the Dean's Office for the fulfillment of the above-mentioned duties. |
