General Information
Karabuk University Mechanical Engineering Department was opened in 2007 and has become a strong department with a rapid development.
Active in our department. 12 professors, 9 associate professors, 19 doctoral lecturers, 12 research assistants serve. In addition to the education at the undergraduate level, we offer education to our students at the graduate and doctoral level.
Our department has the following major science;
Thermodynamics,
Energy,
Machine Theory and Dynamics,
Construction- Manufacturing,
Mechanic.
The laboratory facilities of the department will be carried to advanced levels with the Engineering Faculty Laboratory Building, which will be put into operation.
In addition, the students of the department have the opportunity to do different cultural activities through the Social Life Center and various activities in the Faculty.

To be a department that trains mechanical engineers who can take part in design, production and R&D studies in industrial institutions and research departments, who can solve problems, who are aware of teamwork, environmental awareness, professional ethics and social responsibilities.
