Internship Announcement
THOSE WHO SEND THEIR WORKPLACE ACCEPTANCE DOCUMENTS BY MAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Students who will do an internship in the 2023-2024 summer semester must upload the WORKPLACE ACCEPTANCE CERTIFICATE to the form below no later than 15 days before the internship start date.

NOTE: For all programs, the application document will be filled in Turkish and uploaded to the relevant form. Only students doing internship abroad will fill in the application document in English.

INTERNSHIP APPLICATION RULES

The acceptance of the compulsory 20 working days summer internships of the students studying in our department during the summer semester must be made within the following principles.
 
  1. Students are required to do their internships in accordance with Karabük University Faculties and Colleges Internship Practice Directive and our Department Internship Practice Principles.
  2. Students whose insurance entry procedures have been made; In case of changes in internship dates or internship cancellation, they must submit the documents showing the reason for the cancellation, date change from the relevant company to the secretariat of our department with a petition.
  3. Since internships cannot be done on public holidays and Sundays, students should check their declared dates in advance.
  4. Students who do two internships in the same company can do 40 days without leaving a gap between the dates. It will be sufficient to submit a single application document. The relevant parts of the form should also be indicated. Those in this situation will fill out two internship notebooks.
  5. There is a voluntary internship practice apart from the Compulsory Internship Practice and the Presidential Internship Mobilization practice.
  6. The Internship Agreement will be filled out by those who will receive wages from the place of internship. The Internship Agreement must have the signatures of the student, the company and the head of the department. If the company requests it, it must be signed and submitted before the internship. If the company does not request it, they can submit it together with the internship book.

Insurance Certificate is entered into the E-government system 2-3 days before the date you will start your internship. Insurance starting documents for internship can be obtained via e-government. After typing "4A Employment Entry Exit Notification" in the search section of the e-government system, you can obtain the relevant document by clicking the create document button on the right side of the place where Karabük University is written at the top of the results.

NOTE: The acceptance or rejection status of the internship applications will be published every Friday at 17:00 on the link below for those who fill out the form until Wednesday evening.
