Industrial Engineering is a field that applies
optimization-based methods to enhance the efficiency of
production and service systems. It is the
art of recognizing opportunities and transforming them into effective solutions.
Our department was established in 2008 within the Faculty of Engineering, and undergraduate education began in the 2009/2010 academic year with the admission of 40 first-shift and 40 second-shift students.
Currently, in addition to undergraduate programs, our department also offers a master’s program, with Turkish as the language of instruction. The undergraduate program lasts four years, and an optional one-year foreign language preparatory program is available.
