It was previously announced that compulsory internship applications for our department will be made online through the Student Information System (OBS) starting from the Summer Term of the 2025-2026 Academic Year, and that the application guide can be accessed from the "Compulsory Internship Files" page. Accordingly, students are required to upload the "Applied Training Application and Acceptance Document," signed and stamped by the company representative, to OBS in PDF format, keep the original document with a wet signature, and submit it in person along with the internship report at the end of the internship. They are also required to track their application results through OBS or their current registered email addresses.
Attention to Students Who Will Be Doing a 40-Day Hospital Internship:
Students who wish to combine their two internships and complete them at the hospital only need to upload documents for the first 20-day period via OBS. The "Applied Training Application and Acceptance Document" prepared for the remaining 20-day internship period should be sent via email to halilis@karabuk.edu.tr. Application results can be tracked via the following link:

Students whose Internship Workplace Eligibility Evaluation results show "Ret" must submit a separate Applied Training Application and Acceptance Document for their internship. Results will be added as assessments are completed.

🚨 Important Obligations Regarding Compulsory Internships Extending into the Term
Students who wish to complete a compulsory internship that extends into the term must fill out and sign a petition by Wednesday of the week before the start of their internship, committing to use their own absence allowance in all courses they are registered for when classes begin, and upload it to the OBS system.
Insurance procedures will not be processed for any compulsory internships extending into the fall semester if the student's commitment form has not been uploaded to the OBS system, and these internships will be automatically rejected. Furthermore, internships undertaken by students who begin compulsory internships extending into the fall term without uploading their signed commitment forms to the OBS system will be considered invalid.
