At KBÜFEST 2025, the Chemistry Club added a touch of chemistry to the festival's energy!
As part of KBÜFEST 2025, the newly established Karabük University Chemistry Club participated in the festival with its science-filled and entertaining activities.
The club, which began its activities under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Tümer, opened its first promotional stand under the leadership of founding president Salman Akyol, club president Büşra Sezer, and club members. The team met with Karabük University students, faculty, staff, and the people of Karabük to introduce the Chemistry Club's goals and planned future activities. Quiz competitions and small prize-winning events were held for visitors throughout the festival. Participants had the opportunity to both have fun and discover how chemistry is intertwined with daily life. The events, organized under the slogan "Chemistry is Everywhere," were met with great interest. Furthermore, "October 23rd World Mole Day" was promoted, highlighting the universality of chemistry.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık also visited the Chemistry Club's booth, chatted with students, and wished the club success in its endeavors.
The Karabük University Chemistry Club aims to foster scientific curiosity, show students the fun side of chemistry, and strengthen scientific awareness across the university. As the club's first promotional event, KBÜFEST 2025 was a source of great excitement and motivation.
