From the Pinnacle of the Chemistry World to the Scientists of the Future: An Inspiring Day with Prof. Dr. Bahattin Yalçın, President of the Turkish Chemical Society
On Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM, Prof. Dr. Bahattin YALÇIN, President of the Turkish Chemical Society, delivered a presentation titled “Green Chemistry from Laboratory to Industry: New Approaches for a Sustainable Future” at the Hamit Çepni Conference Hall of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.
With this presentation, our faculty hosted a visionary gathering that shed light on the past, present, and most importantly, the bright future of chemistry in Türkiye. Prof. Dr. Bahattin Yalçın, President of the Turkish Chemical Society, met with us and emphasized not only the importance of formulas, but also the power of science in shaping society.
