1. My internship notebook was not accepted for any reason (such as formatting deficiencies, failure to meet the deadline, or insufficient content). Can I correct the existing deficiencies and submit my internship notebook the following year?
Answer: No. A new internship is required.
2. Can I submit my internship notebook by courier or through someone else (a friend, etc.)?
Answer: Since an interview is held at the time of submission, each student must submit their internship notebook themselves. However, due to compelling reasons, the internship notebook can also be submitted by the person granted a notarized power of attorney. In this case, the student will be evaluated by the internship committee through an oral interview.
3. Can I change my internship location for any reason after starting my internship?
Answer: No.
4. Can the signature/stamp on the acceptance letter completed by the company/institution where the internship took place be different from the signature/stamp on each page of the internship notebook?
Answer: The internship notebook must have the name and signature of the chemist or chemical engineer responsible for the laboratory where the student worked on the inside pages. Any other pages must contain the signature and stamp of the company/institution official.
5. If any deficiencies are detected in the internship notebook according to the format specified in the Internship Directive, does this mean that my internship will be invalid?
Answer: If deficiencies are detected in the internship file according to the format specified in the Directive, the student will be invited for an interview.
6. I will be doing my internship abroad. Which language should I write in?
Answer: If the internship takes place abroad, the language of the writing will be Turkish or English.
7. Is attendance at the internship information meeting mandatory?
Answer: Yes.
8. Can I take summer school courses during the summer of the internship?
Answer: No.
