ATTENTION TO STUDENTS WHO ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A COMPULSORY INTERNSHIP!
As stated in Article 8, Paragraph 5 of the Karabuk University Summer School Directive:
"Students who are required to complete an internship during the summer term cannot enroll in summer school courses if the internship period overlaps with the start and end dates (including exams) of courses specified in the academic calendar. However, in workplaces operating with a shift system, students may attend summer school and complete their internship simultaneously, provided that the internship hours do not conflict with the course hours."
Within this scope, students who will take courses during the 2024–2025 Summer School term are not allowed to do their internships at the same time, even if they intend to use their permitted absence rights.
Students found to be attending summer school courses during their internship period will be considered unsuccessful in those courses, and their internships will be cancelled. All responsibility arising from such cases lies solely with the student.
Students who wish to begin their internships after the summer school ends may start their internships on or after August 18, 2025.
