The 2023-2024 Summer School Single Course Exam will be held on Tuesday, 10/09/2024.
The 2023-2024 Summer School Single Course Exam Program
The following provisions apply regarding the single course exam:
a) Students who have taken all the courses in the education-training program and met the attendance requirement, but have only one failed course left for graduation, can apply to the relevant department head within the periods specified in the academic calendar and take the single course exam on the date specified in the academic calendar, regardless of whether the course is opened in the relevant semester. If they fail the single course exam, they can take the single course exam again on the condition that they pay the student contribution fee/tuition fee. Students who have paid the “student contribution fee/tuition fee” but have not applied cannot take the single course exam. In order to pass the single course exam, it is mandatory to get at least 50 out of 100 full marks. However, students who cannot achieve a 2.00 GPA cannot graduate.
b) Students who have completed the attendance requirement for all courses and received a passing grade but cannot achieve the 2.00 GPA required for graduation are given the right to take a single-course exam on the dates specified in the academic calendar for a conditionally successful course of their choice. The last grade received in a single-course exam taken to increase the GPA is valid.
c) Students who cannot increase their GPA to 2.00 even if they receive the highest grade (AA) as a result of the single-course exam are not given the right to take a single-course exam.
