First Place in 2242 University Students Research Project Competition - 2019
Karabük University students made a great achievement by winning first place in two categories with three different projects at the "2242 University Student Research Project Competitions" organized by TÜBİTAK Science Human Support Programs Directorate. While 1,650 projects participated in the competition nationwide, the regional finals were held with the participation of 600 projects in 6 different regions. Karabük University students, who participated in the competition in Ankara, one of the designated regions, achieved great success with their projects.
Onur Kalaycı, another student who won first place in the competition, competed in the "Machine Manufacturing and Automotive" category as a Mechatronics Engineering student. Kalaycı, who won first place with his project "Laser Marking and CNC Milling Machine," was supervised by Dr. İbrahim Çayıroğlu, an instructor in the Engineering Department.
