Mission of our department is to educate qualified Metallurgical and Materials Engineers, who are respectful to human values, modern, social and cultured, endowed with basic and professional information, specialized in their field, well accepted in national and international level, open to new ideas, environmentally-conscious, respectful to ethical values, prone to interdisciplinary and group work and who determine problems of the country and region, come up with solutions, constantly improve themselves in their field, have analytical thinking ability and quality awareness.
