About the Spring 2022-2023 Semester Midterm Exam Schedule
You can access the 2022-2023 Spring Semester midterm exam program from the link below. In order to follow the updates made in your exam program, follow the announcements on the website of our faculties and departments and the OBS system daily. Exam date, time and exam type of your course are written in the exam program. In order to find your courses in the exam program, you can filter the code of your course from the column named course code. Please do not forget to pay attention to the name of your course and the instructor.
ALL EXAMS WILL BE DONE ONLINE. Our students will take the exam according to the relevant one of the following exam methods specified for each course in the exam program. It is the student's sole responsibility to provide the devices, materials and appropriate environment (internet connection, electricity, etc.) required for all methods.

The exam of the courses with TEST in the exam type column will be held online without supervision via the UNIKA/ https://sinav.karabuk.edu.tr/ application.
For TEST exams (UNIKA) User Name: Student Number Password: T.C. is your ID Number.

The exam for the courses whose exam type is CLASSIC - OPTION 2 will be held online through the exam created within the relevant course via the OYS/oys.karabuk.edu.tr system.
For OPTION 2 exams (OYS), your User Name: studentno@karabuk.edu.tr Your Password: "The first 5 digits of your Turkish Republic Identity Number" is Kbu*.
(For example, your TR ID Number should be 12345678910 and your student number should be 1234567. In this case, your User Name: 1234567@karabuk.edu.tr Your Password: 12345Kbu*.)

Exam type CLASSIC - OPTION 3, the exam will be held online under supervision in team classes of 49 people created through the Microsoft Teams application.
For OPTION 3 exams (Microsoft Teams), your User Name: studentno@karabuk.edu.tr Your Password: "The first 5 digits of your TR ID number" is Kbu*.
(For example, your TR ID Number should be 12345678910 and your student number should be 1234567. In this case, your User Name: 1234567@karabuk.edu.tr Your Password: 12345Kbu*.)

For the exam of the courses whose type of exam is OTHER - PROJECT / HOMEWORK, the students must learn the exam method by contacting the lecturer responsible for the relevant course.
In the exams to be held through the Microsoft Teams application, the student must take the exam with a device camera (mobile phone camera, tablet camera or a similar mobile device camera) placed in a suitable location that will display himself, the exam paper and the answer sheet, together with a device where the student can see the exam paper.
> The device to be used as a camera will be connected to the Microsoft Teams application, and the live image and voice of the students will be transferred over the relevant device.
TEST exams (UNIKA application) will be active at the time of each student's exam. Therefore, it is not possible to enter the system before your exam hours. It is natural for you to try to enter the system before the exam time and receive an error message. Read other issues about TEST exams at onlinesinav.karabuk.edu.tr.

NOTE:
Since there may be changes due to possible exam conflicts, do not forget to check the current version of the exam program from the OBS system one day before the start of the midterm exams. In addition, be sure to follow the relevant announcements on the faculty and department pages daily.
It has been learned that some of our students prefer not to receive SMS information sent from our university by filling out the form sent by the IT Department. These students cannot access the SMS information sent for the test exams. Our University is not responsible for all the grievances that may occur as a result of this situation arising from the student's own choice. Interested students can change their SMS preferences by contacting our University's IT Department.
It is important for all of our students to update their phone numbers and e-mail addresses on OBS and actively follow them.
