Course Taking Form From Other Universities in Summer School (2021)

The students who wish to take the courses that are not opened at our university in the summer school from other universities are required to submit a petition to the department. Please read the descriptions at the bottom of the petition carefully and completely.

Due to the outbreak of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19), the petition and its attachments will be collected on the form below. Before taking courses from other universities, it is necessary to apply with a petition through this form.

  • The courses taken from the summer schools of other universities will not be accepted by students who have not applied with a petition or received a negative result from the eligibility evaluation.

Course Taking Form From Other Universities in Summer School (2021)


> Based on the 8th paragraph of the 8th article of the KBU Summer School Directive, if the required course (with theoretical hours) is not found among the courses offered or equivalent by our department, the relevant course can be taken from the summer school opened in a different university (*).
* ARTICLE 8 - (8) If the courses that the student wants to enroll in are not offered at KBU Summer School, the student can take the relevant courses from the Summer School of a different university within the framework of the issues specified in the 11th article of this directive.
> Based on the 3rd paragraph of the 11th article of the KBU Summer School Directive, a maximum of 5 courses can be taken from summer schools, provided that they do not exceed 15 hours (**).
** ARTICLE 11 - (3) Students can take a maximum of 5 (five) courses from the Summer Schools of other higher education institutions during the normal education period, not exceeding 15 hours each year.
